Russell Wilson is More Than a Football Player
Okay, if you are a Seahawk fan it's pretty impossible to dislike Russell Wilson. But when I truly evaluate a player I like to look at who the person is as well. We all know from basic game time comments and talk radio that Russell Wilson is special. Over the next week or so I would like to actually dig in and do some real homework on who he is and how he has become the player and person he is today. In the mean time check out this Levi commercial. There isn't a lot of Levi promoting going on in the commercial but that I think is the beauty of it. How many commercials can motivate a guy to blog and push it onto his site? Nice work. Very well put together. Go Seahawk! Go Russell Wilson...on the field and off the field!

He is not special. Why don't you put the Pope at QB and see how many games you win. I still believe this is a mistake. Seattle is DEAD last in passing offense. When will the media stop blowing smoke up this guys' ass?
ReplyDeleteWe media folk love us a good story. Wilson will only get better and it's not like he has a ton of weapons. Give him time cuz.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are gonna waste a great D this year... at some point he's gonna have to lead you to an important score without the help of the refs. Flynn may not be Tom Brady, but he's closer than Wilson. You are right about no weapons. I would agree with the "give it time" idea, but the defenses time is NOW!
DeleteYou bring up a good point. The defense may never be better than it is right now. They are down right nasty and exactly what I have been hoping to see out of the once described coffee sipping nice guy team. I am worried that the offense is just not going to be able to hold up their end of the deal but was anyone expecting them to with Flynn? Not me, I think the weapons are just as bad with him or Wilson in there and if Wilson can gain some quick experience we can develop him sooner and...wait for it...trade Flynn. I not joking. Next year while he is still hot trade him for another pick and draft another young maybe taller athletic qb. He will be cheaper. What do you think we could get for Flynn?
