This was an exciting week of voting on the poll.  I don't know who participated but it was cool to see some new numbers.  My goal is to get up to 20 votes with these fantasy related polls.  As I would expect it is a little easier to cast your vote if you are winning and thus we see the highest number with a 1-0 record after week 1.  I was one of the 1-0 votes but sadly I was not the scored over 200.  I have yet to crack that number this year even after week 2.

Weekly Voting Summary #4

I did not do a very good job of pushing this poll and therefore my great efforts don't look so great.  I voted for the Nets over the Knicks, the Yankees over the Red Sox, the Giants over the Jets but clearly I wasn't thinking media coverage.
Side note: Am I the only one craving coverage of any NFL topic outside of the Jets and especially  #15 who I have personally opted not to ever type on this blog in hopes that the major media outlets will curb their attention on him.

I voted for the SF Giants over the 49ers, the Seahawks over the Mariners and Woods over McIlroy which was a really poor alternative option.

Weekly Voting Summary #3

This was the exciting week I was hoping for.  After two weeks of just getting 3 votes my poll blew up by my standards and expectations!  As I noted in the previous week I have connections from several areas in the country. With this in mind I thought to create a poll based on the sports radio talk voices.  I love listening, on my way to work or at my computer during work all of these voices but I was curious about all of you.  Thanks for voting!  Keep it up!!!

17 votes in total!!!  Okay, so I'm not ready to take on ESPN yet but hey they didn't become the empire tycoon they are today over night.  Basically the radio voices are from Seattle, New York and nation wide.  Go figure with my constant moving around I found the shows that are cast nation wide as my favorite.  In fact, its almost too perfect to have Colin Coherd be my favorite voice.  He is a bit obnoxious to some..that might be me, he is from Washington state, that is me, he lives on the east coast, so do I, he clearly has a connection and affinity to politics as he often references topics and connects them to sports.  This is ultimately my goal with a history background.  Even with my vote for Colin Coherd he fell a little short.

The winner by a vote was John Clayton aka the professor.  No argument here.  I am a big fan!  I see KJR in Seattle polls higher than ESPN.  I'm super curious who vote for Kevin Calabro.  It must been all the Sonic Fans that attended the rally I targeted on twitter.  While I think Calabro is a great play by play announcer for the NBA, I think his talents are limited on his radio talk show. Week two was a vote based off of a picture of Justin Tuck's helmet.  It reminded me of 3 movies: The Transformers, meets the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles meets the Silence of the Lambs. What do you think?  Any movies come to mind?  I know this was sort of a random topic but I like incorporating an image with the voting.  I thought it might trigger more responses, plus as a blogger with connections to the state of Washington, New Jersey and the Bay Area, I try to be diverse with my topics.  Maybe soon, I will start getting a lot of traffic and a lot of votes.

Who woke up at some point this week with the worst feeling?

There wasn't a lot of activity...at least in the voting department.  I received around 500 visits but only 3 votes.  Ouch!!!  I really liked my question so I kept my chin up.
